US – MGM National Harbor sets record breaking month of revenue for Maryland

The Maryland casino sector has generated a record-breaking July with the state’s six casinos bringing in GGR of $181.5m, marking a 0.8 per cent improvement or $1.4m on last July’s record setting total.

The increase was driven by MGM National Harbor which was up 6.8 per cent at $77.2m. The only other casino to generate an increase was Ocean Downs Casino which generated GGR of $10.5m up just 0.2 per cent. All the other four casinos saw a dip with Hollywood Casino down the most at 14.1 per cent drop. The second top earning casino, Live! Casino & Hotel, was down 2.1 per cent to $61.6m, Horseshoe Casino was down 4.9 per cent at $18.4m whilst Rocky Gap Casino generated revenues of $6.2 m, marking a fall of 1.4 per cent.
